3 Benefits Of Friendship That May Change Your Perspective

Friends are one of the greatest and best sources of support we will find throughout our lives. From the day children first step out on the playground, friendships are a key part of life Anyone who has had the good fortune of having them knows it. Being able to count on someone who loves you and having that person count on you in return can alleviate some of life’s problems. It also gives excitement and intensity to life itself. Or you can say that Friends are family members that we choose to allow and keep in our lives. From our first childhood friend to those lifelong friends we have known for decades; friends are treasures that can bring so much positivity into our lives and helps in Recording Memories for Family but yet we often become too busy and neglect these important people.

Today I’d like to discuss friendship and specifically address 3 important benefits of having a friend.

First, let’s define our terms. A friendship is simply a relationship between two person who has mutual respect and affection for each other. In reality, a true friendship is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself but in today’s world, true friendship is a bit hard to define. because it’s more of an intangible feeling.

One of my favorite sayings about friends comes from Eleanor Roosevelt: “Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.”

With that said, here are 3 of the top footprints – I mean benefits – of friendship that may change your perspective

Friends help reduce your levels of stress:-  Researchers believe that friendship also plays a role in the way the body processes stress. When you spend time with your good friend and sharing what’s on your mind, your body may produce less of the stress hormone, cortisol, which can have a calming effect.

Increased self-confidence:- as we all know Supportive friends can help us feel more confident by offering praise, reassurance, and a hand to hold when we’re feeling unsure. Being available for each other in this way can help to develop a lifetime of gratifying companionship.
Increased happiness:- Friendship is an excellent prescription for all kinds of emotional and physical pain they  “increase your sense of belonging and purpose, boost your happiness, reduce stress, improve your self-worth, helps in recording new memories.

Conclusion

We all know that friends are wonderful adornments to our lives. Because they make our lives better and tell the world around us a bit about who we are. Having a good Friendship provides us with comfort, encouragement, inspiration, support and honest feedback. Good Friends see us as we are and accept us for who we are.
